1. Scope
These terms define the conditions for using Dopa Kanji Gacha (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. About the Service
The Service is a free browser game for entertainment in which you collect kanji cards based on how often each character appears in Wikipedia text. In-game items such as “dopa”, “ink”, “packs” and “tickets” have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or goods. There are no in-game purchases.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not engage in illegal acts, unauthorized access or excessive load on the servers, interference with the Service, infringement of others’ rights, or other conduct the operator deems inappropriate.
4. Save Data
Game data is stored in your browser. If it is lost, for example because you cleared browser data or changed device, the operator cannot restore it. Please make backups with the export function in the settings screen.
5. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as-is. The operator does not guarantee its completeness, accuracy or continuous availability. Readings, meanings, glyphs and other data shown may contain errors. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Sources and Licenses
Character frequencies are counts made by this project from the article text of Japanese and Chinese Wikipedia (only counts are used; article text is not redistributed). Readings, meanings, radicals and similar data come from sources such as KANJIDIC2 (EDRDG, CC BY-SA 4.0), Unihan (Unicode, Inc.) and Make Me a Hanzi (LGPL-3.0). Fonts are subsets of Noto Serif / Sans CJK (SIL Open Font License 1.1). See the license list for details. Rights in each dataset belong to their respective owners.
7. Trademarks and Non-Affiliation
This Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation. “Wikipedia” is a trademark of Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.
8. Ads and Support
The Service may display advertising. We may also accept optional support (donations), but donating does not give you any in-game benefit or advantage.
9. Changes to Terms
The operator may update these terms as needed. Updated terms take effect when published on this page.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.
